FSMI2 - Financial assistance to penetrate the export market.

FSMI2 scheme is to assist small and medium industries (SMIs) in penetrating the export market and providing linkages to the export-oriented and domestic industries. The scheme is administered by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM).

Features

 
Purpose of financing: For working capital and expansion of productive capacity.
Amount of Financing: Minimum RM50,000 - Maximum RM3.0 million.
Lending rate: 5.0% per annum (subject to change).
Types of facility: All forms of facility.
Maximum tenure of financing: Up to 3 years (from date of 1st drawdown from BNM).
 

Eligibility

 
Malaysian-owned companies/institutions (at least 51% ownership) registered under the Companies Act 1965, the Co-operative Societies Act 1993, the Societies Act 1996.
Citizens residing in Malaysia.
Entrepreneurs registered with the Registrar of Business or relevant authorities.
Shareholders' fund NOT exceeding RM10.0 million.
Operating in the following sectors: Manufacturing, Trading and Services.
