Introducing Uni Medicare Plus

 
Uni Medicare Plus is a health plan that you can rely on in such an event to give you peace of mind knowing that you can enjoy the best medical care provided by doctors and medical centres of your choice.
Designed by Uni.Asia Life Assurance Berhad, Uni Medicare Plus is a non-participating compreshensive health insurance plan that helps to settle your medical and surgical bills in the event of your hospitalisation. It is a complete combination of a Basic Term and a Rider.
 

Special Benefits of Uni Medicare Plus

  Uni Medicare Plus provides the following benefits:
Compassionate Benefit
RM50,000 is payable upon the occurence of Death of Total and Permanent Disability (TPD), whichever is earlier.
Hospitalisation Benefit
A fixed amount of daily income will be payable for any period of hospitalisation, subject to a lifetime limit in days.
Surgical Benefit
A lump sum amount will be payable depending on the complexity of the surgery.

As Uni Medicare Plus combines both Basic Term plan and a Rider, the cumulative premiums payable should be derived from the premium rates provided below for both the Basic Term and Rider:

Total premium payable is calculated as follows:

Total Premium = Basic Term + Rider (according to plan)

Example

For a female aged 30 purchasing Plan C, the calculation would be:

Basic: RM345
Rider: RM191
Total: RM345+RM191=RM838

Defination of Common and Technical Terms

 

Total and Permanent Disability (TPD)
Insured's inability to performr the essential acts of his/her own occupation or any other occupation for which he/she is reasonably suited by education, training or experiece permanently.

Hospitalisation Benefit
The Hospitalisation benefit, during the period of this Supplementary Contract, is subject to a maximum of,
a) 120 days per disability and
b) the hospitalisation benefit lifetime limit (as defined in the Schedule of Benefit) of 730 days

Surgical Benefit Lifetime Limit
Surgical Benefit Lifetime Limit is defined as the total amount of surgical claim payable during the Life Assured's lifetime for the perioud of this Supplementary Contract
