Operation of this savings account is based on the principle of trustee profit sharing between EONCAP Islamic Bank and yourself. This account is flexible and convenient to maintain. It also promises you an attractive return that is as high as any investment account.
Features
  • Types of Mudharabah Savings Account-i:
    • Personal Account – 18 years old and above.
    • Joint Account – 18 years old and above and jointly with another person.
    • Trust Account – Below 15 years old and the account must be opened together and in the name of the parents or legal guardian.
  • An initial deposit of RM100.00 is required. If the initial deposit is in cheque, then RM1.00 cash is to be collected.
  • All withdrawals are subject to a minimum balance of RM50.00, which has to be maintained at all times.
  • No fixed deposit interest can be deposited into the Mudharabah Savings Account-i.

Takaful Insurance coverage will be provided free of charge when you maintain a certain monthly average daily balance.

Eligibility
  • All individuals, Muslims or Non-Muslims.
  • Corporations and business enterprises are not allowed to open the Mudharabah Savings Account-i, except for a non-profitable organization.
How to Apply
  • Individual: Copy of IC (both sides)
  • Trustee/On Behalf: Copy of IC and Birth Certificate of the child
  • Clubs & Societies: Original certificates of Registration
  • Trust Account: Trust Deed
  • Executor & Administrator: Grant of probate, etc.
