The Ar-Rahnu Pawnbroking-i provides you with the option to obtain cash to fulfil any immediate financial needs. This facility secures financing through personal surety or pledge. In practice, the bank will use gold as collateral and will charge the customer for the safekeeping service.

Features

It is based on the Ar-Rahnu, Al-Qardhul Hassan and Al-Wadiah Yad Dhamanah concept.
The financing tenure for Ar-Rahnu scheme is 6 months, an extension period will be given subject to the settlement of the earlier Ar-Rahnu fees.
Type of gold ornaments acceptable is between 750 to 999 without any precious stones.
The gold jewellery must belong to the customer or the spouse.
You will need to declare evidence ownership of the of the gold jewellery by signing a declaration in the "Surat Akuan Gadaian".
The charge of safekeeping is calculated daily.
