There have been recent reports in the media on unauthorised withdrawals of funds from local bank accounts, which have raised concerns on the security of customer information. However, preliminary investigations have revealed that no bank employee has been involved in the activity of selling classified information to third parties.
We, at EON Bank, are working hard to ensure that scams, especially through short message service (SMS) and "phishing" websites targeting unsuspecting customers, are put to a stop.
